Getting data in
- CV parsing: drag and drop up to 1,000 CVs
and Spott extracts profiles for your review, or forward CVs to
cv@spott.iofor fully automatic processing. - CV diffing: re-upload a newer CV and Spott detects and merges only what changed.
- Enrichment: find missing emails, phone numbers, and LinkedIn URLs automatically, and keep profiles fresh with auto-updating profiles.
- AI-filled columns: define an attribute with a prompt and Spott fills it for every record.
- CSV mapping: on CSV import, Spott reads your column names and sample data and suggests where each column belongs.
Finding the right people
- Job matching: AI ranks your whole database against a job’s criteria with 0 to 100 match scores and per-criterion explanations.
- Candidate matching: the other direction. A candidate’s Matching subtab suggests the jobs that fit them, plus similar candidates.
- Company matching: a client’s Matching tab lists the candidates you already have near them.
- AI text to filters: type “React developer with 5+ years in California” in the filter box and Spott builds the filters.
- Inbound triage: every applicant is scored against the role automatically.
Capturing conversations
- Note Taker: joins your online meetings, transcribes them in any language, and writes structured meeting notes using your templates.
- Call intelligence: every VoIP call is transcribed and mined for suggested profile updates and follow-up tasks.
- Suggested field updates: the candidate’s Summary subtab proposes profile updates picked up from recent calls, meetings, and notes.
Writing for you
- Job descriptions: generate or rewrite vacancy texts in your templates and any language.
- Campaign content: generate outreach copy with instructions and context, per recipient.
- Message templates: drop an AI Generated content block into a template and it writes that passage from your instruction.
- Scorecards: generate an interview scorecard from the job’s sourcing criteria, and let AI rate the answers once the interview notes are in.
- Formatted CVs: reformat any CV into your agency’s template from the candidate’s profile.
- Shortlists: turn a selection of candidates into a written Word shortlist for a client, anonymized if you want.
Agents everywhere
- Ask AI lives on candidates, jobs, applications, opportunities, and calls: an agent that knows the whole record and answers questions about it.
- The Spott MCP server connects Claude, ChatGPT, and any MCP-capable assistant to your workspace, so you can run the entire workflow from a conversation.
All of this runs on the context in your records. Complete profiles, linked notes,
and synced communication make every AI feature measurably better. That is the real
reason to keep your data in Spott.
Steering the AI
You are not stuck with the defaults. Three places in Settings shape what the AI produces:- Features: an admin turns the AI capabilities on or off for the whole workspace, including enrichment, AI-filled columns, and auto-updating profiles.
- Templates: every template you control steers what the AI produces. Insight Templates are the instructions behind call and meeting insights, Job Description Templates steer generated vacancy texts, and presentation, note, and email templates shape the rest.
- Personal preferences: Default AI Language sets the language Spott writes in.
What the AI reads
Spott’s AI works from your notes, work experience, and CV files. What about my messages?
- Email: only Ask AI reads it, and only the mail synced to the record you are standing on. That is what lets it answer “summarize the situation with this candidate”. No other AI feature touches your email.
- WhatsApp: never read, by any AI feature, Ask AI included. Messages are stored on the record and available to you, not to the AI.
