Send documents for e-signature straight from Spott. Send any attachment to one or more recipients and track signature status from the record’s files, without switching tools.

Connect

Enable DocuSign under Settings → Integrations → DocuSign and connect your DocuSign account. You can then send an attachment for signature from any record’s files.
Only workspace admins can enable this integration. A DocuSign account is required.

Send a document for signature

Pick the attachment on the record and add your Recipients. Besides the candidate or client, you can add a colleague, for example the director who countersigns every contract: pick them from your workspace users, where they show as Colleague. The search needs at least three characters and matches the colleague’s email address, not their name, so start typing their address. Everyone signs at the same time; there is no signing order. Only you need DocuSign connected to send. Each recipient, colleagues included, signs from the email DocuSign sends them.

Track signature status

Once a document is out, its status sits on the record’s files rather than in your inbox. A badge such as Signed by 1 recipient shows the state at a glance, and opening it shows who sent it and when, then each recipient with their own status, Received, Viewed, Signed, or Declined, so a two-signature document tells you which half you are waiting on. Hover over the badge and Open in DocuSign takes you to the envelope in DocuSign itself, where you need to be logged in. Only the person who sent the envelope sees that link. Spott can also tell you the moment an envelope is completed, in the app or by email. Turn it on under notifications. To act on it rather than just hear about it, use the Signature request completed trigger in automations. It fires once every recipient has signed, so a signed contract can open the next task or notify your back office without anyone checking the file. Signature events also fire webhooks, so a finance or contract system can react without anyone forwarding a confirmation.
