# RingRing

> Connect RingRing to call and to text candidates and contacts directly from Spott.

## Overview

RingRing is a Belgian communications provider. Connecting it to Spott gives you both
sides of the number: **calling** candidates and contacts from Spott, with the call
logged, recorded, and summarized like any other
[VoIP integration](/docs/calls/phone-calls), and **SMS**, so you can text from the
record too.

## Getting connected

<Note>
  **RingRing does not have a self-service page under Settings → Integrations yet.** The
  connection works, but it is set up for you. [Contact support](/docs/get-started/faq)
  and we will enable RingRing on your workspace.
</Note>

Have your RingRing account details to hand when you get in touch, and say which numbers
should be available in Spott, both for calling and for texting.

Once RingRing is live on your workspace, calling and [SMS](/docs/inbox/sms) behave the
same as with any other provider: calls are logged and transcribed on the record, and
text messages appear on the **Communication** tab and in the
[Inbox](/docs/inbox/inbox).

## Enable call recording in RingRing

Spott transcribes and summarizes the recordings your provider makes, so **call
recording must be enabled on the RingRing side**. Without it, calls still appear in the
activity feed, but no transcript or note is created.
