# AI in Spott

> Everything Spott's AI does for you, from CV parsing to matching, meeting notes, and agents on every record.

AI is not a feature bolted onto Spott: it runs through every part of the platform.
This page is the map of everything it does, with links to the details.

## Getting data in

* **CV parsing**: drag and drop [up to 1,000 CVs](/docs/candidates/adding-candidates)
  and Spott extracts profiles for your review, or forward CVs to `cv@spott.io` for
  fully automatic processing.
* **CV diffing**: re-upload a newer CV and Spott
  [detects and merges only what changed](/docs/candidates/update-profile-from-cv).
* **Enrichment**: find missing emails, phone numbers, and LinkedIn URLs
  [automatically](/docs/candidates/contact-enrichment), and keep profiles fresh with
  [auto-updates from LinkedIn](/docs/settings/auto-updating-profiles).
* **AI-filled columns**: define an attribute with a prompt and Spott

## Finding the right people

* **Matching**: AI ranks your whole database against a job's criteria with
  [0 to 100 match scores and per-criterion explanations](/docs/jobs/matching).
* **AI search**: describe your ideal profile in plain language, paste a job
  description, and search the whole pool, including notes and attachments, from the

## What the AI reads

Spott's AI works from your **notes**, **work experience**, and **CV files**. It does
**not** read your emails, LinkedIn messages, or WhatsApp messages.
